As they both agree, public speaking is a part of the role that is often not considered when taking on the job. They’ve experienced many fails due to not preparing and accidentally switching words while singing. To help with this, they suggest six things that worship leaders can talk about between songs such as promoting upcoming events, sharing stories, using humor, giving meaningful quotes, relating to the congregation, and encouraging others.
